Serbian texts of the XIII – XIV centuries in the Sinai Manuscripts of non-Serbian origin
The article is devoted to a little-studied issue – Serbian texs of the 13th and 14th centuries in non-Serbian (Russian and Bulgarian) manuscripts kept in the library of the Sinai Monastery, and in the 19th century found themselves in the Imperial Public Library in St. Petersburg. The first of them (prayer of a Serbian pilgrim of the 13th century Gabriel of Sinai, Palestinian and Egyptian saints) is on the Russian codex of Nikon Chernogorets Pandects, which is part of the Bulgarian-Russian collection-convolute, currently divided between the monastery Library and the Russian National Library. The study and dating of this record enrich the history of Serbian literature of the first century of its existence, and also make it possible to reliably date the Old Russian codex itself no later than the first half - middle of the 13th century. The second entry (in the well-known so-called Collection ("Zlatoust") Yagich) belongs to the clerk Stanislav – this is his message to a certain metropolitan, not named by name. It dates no earlier than 1346 and is a unique example of the amazing similarity of Serbian and Old Russian epistolography in the genre of request, requiring a special explanation.
